There are things in this world you won’t connect with the idea of cleaning, at least not with Vileda products. Like your yoga mat, sneakers or a car. Well, think again, because our products were made to clean almost everything, from a smartphone to a yacht. And our Top Ten unusual things to clean will show you how it’s done.
Sneaky clean
Mix dish washing detergent with water und use the soft side of a 3in1 Non-scratch sponge scourer to clean your sneakers. Afterwards, wipe with a Vileda microfibre cloth and let them air dry – you’re good to go!
Omm...my god it's dirty
To clean your mat, use lukewarm water and add a table spoon of dish soap, into three litres of tap water. Use Vileda yellow all purpose cloth to apply the solution onto your mat, and scrub gently.
Screen clean
Smartphones are delicate, so it’s advisable to use distilled water mixed half-and-half with white vinegar. Put the liquid into a spray bottle, and spray it onto the Vileda microfibre cloth to get the screen clean with it.
Mop up
Got your yacht or dinghy out of the water and there’s grime all over the hull? Get your Vileda SuperMocio 3Action mop out and wipe it clean with the microfibre mop head.
Dashing good looks
Keep your dashboard looking shiny with a little olive oil or baby oil. Use a Vileda microfibre cloth to rub it into your dash. This way, it will help to keep some moisture in the material.
Switch off dirt
Vileda microfibre cloths and toothbrushes work wonders on remote controls. Remove the batteries first, and clean with diluted dish soap.
Knives out
Cleaning with a knife? Sure, just wrap a Wettex cloth around it and you are ready to clean vents and radiators.
Make it stick
If you use your ear buds regularly, they’re prone to get dirty. Use some tape to get the waxy bits of, then wipe clean with a Vileda microfibre cloth.
Full clean ahead
Your toddler loves to play for hours on the colourful playroom floor? Use the Vileda spray mop to clean the playroom within some seconds and remove bacteria without cleaning chemicals.
Get it straight
Clean your hair straightener after use when it’s still a little warm: moisten a Wettex cloth and wipe the ceramic surface. If your straightener is heavily stained, try a glass cleaner.
Do you have something to add? Some old trick that your grandma told you about that she did back in the day? Feel free to add them to our Top Ten by posting with the hashtag #tidytopten
